Underlying the ACQUIRE Project is the goal of making more methods and more services available and accessible to more people in more places.

More Methods
Our aim is to ensure that contraceptive and health service options are available so that individuals and couples can choose for themselves and achieve their desired family size and reproductive health goals.

More People
ACQUIRE addresses both the supply and demand sides of reproductive health and family planning (RH/FP) services to reach more people. The project is designed to elicit increased participation from clients, communities, and providers.

More Places
Key to increasing access is scaling up service-delivery sites, increasing both the number and the types of facilities providing RH/FP services.

Guiding principles for the ACQUIRE Project's approach are:

Focusing on the fundamental elements of quality care: informed decision making, medical safety, and quality improvement
Engaging stakeholders (clients, providers, managers, policymakers) through participatory processes
Using data to drive programming interventions

The ACQUIRE Project foresees its legacy as being a set of program models and lessons learned on how to introduce, scale up, and sustain methods and services that respond to unmet RH/FP needs.
